To invite the Living Christ into our lives and to bear witness to God's love for us by celebrating each person's intrinsic value and by responding to the needs of our parish, our community and our world.

Worship in the Parish of Merrickville

Sunday Services
9:00 a.m. Christ Church, Burritt's Rapids
10:30 a.m.
Holy Trinity, Merrickville

Sunday School at both services from Sept to the end of May.

Christ Church is the more traditional of our two congregations.  Music is currently led by Holy Trinity's music director's, Scott and Tara Cameron while our organist is on an extended sick leave.  The services are usually Holy Eucharist following the Book of Alternative Services, Page 185, except when the Rector is away and then BCP Morning Prayer is used.  A small Sunday School of about 10 children is available at this service.

Holy Trinity has a more contemporary feel thanks to the music led by the classical guitar duo CameronStrings.   Services are Book of Alternative Services - Holy Eucharist (Page 185) except when the Rector is away and Morning Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer is led by a lay reader.

Throughout the school year we have special services led by the Children and Youth including the popular "Big Question Sunday," in which a service is developed around questions the children and youth have asked.  The children gather each Sunday for a story with the Rector and then proceed to Sunday School.  We have approximately 35 children in the Sunday School.

During the seasons of Advent and Lent a Wednesday morning service of Holy Communion according to the Book of Common Prayer is celebrated at 10:30am.
