| The Parish of Merrickville is an historic parish
founded with Holy Trinity, Merrickville in 1829 and Christ Church,
Burritt's Rapids in 1831.
Christ Church has a cemetery beside the church that has many stones
dating back through our history.
Holy Trinity does not have a cemetery but is a member of the
historic Merrickville Union Cemetery on the Burritt's Rapids Road just
East of the Village of Merrickville on the South side of the river.
It is currently Diocesan policy that all completed registers be
filed with our Diocesan Archives. Our parish can only help you with
information from the past five years or so. All other inquiries should
be made to the archives. They can be reached by e-mail at archives@ontario.anglican.ca
